A Marine Dream in the Cham Islands (1 or 2 days)

The lovely Cham Islands archipelago is located about one hour by boat away from the Hoi An coast. Home to fishermen and featuring extensive marine biodiversity, this fantastic trip takes you to this little piece of paradise which is a registered Marine Protected Area. Activities are mainly aquatic and sub-aquatic, but a leisurely walk across the main island to a remote fishing village is also worth a detour. This is an exotic but accessible expedition where with nature respect and conservation as our privileged background. ITINERARY 1-day option [Day 1] Hoi An – Cham Island – Hoi An Depart from your hotel at 8am for a short drive to the Hoi An pier. We board the boat and start our cruise out to the archipelago while enjoying a tea or coffee as we speed over the gentle waves and out to sea. The Cham Islands archipelago is a registered Marine Protected Area, a marine and sub-marine paradise whose preservation we must all work to ensure. Once we arrive on the island's silky sands, you're welcome to grab some flippers and try snorkeling along the colorful coral reef or enjoy some sightseeing on the islands before heading to Bai Chong beach for a lunch under coconut trees. The afternoon is spent at your leisure, you can choose among an array of available activities including sunny beach relaxation, swimming, snorkeling, trekking, or canoeing. In mid-afternoon, we again board our boat for the cruise back to Hoi An, arriving early enough to admire the sunset from the mainland after a glorious day at sea. 2-day option [Day 1] Hoi An – Cham Island Depart from your hotel at 8am for a short drive to the Hoi An pier. We board the boat and start our cruise to the archipelago while enjoying a tea or coffee as we speed over the gentle waves and out to sea. The Cham Islands archipelago is a registered Marine Protected Area, a marine and sub-marine paradise whose preservation we must all work to ensure. Once we arrive on the island's silky sands, you're welcome to grab some flippers and try snorkeling along the colorful coral reef or enjoy some sightseeing on the islands before heading to Bai Chong beach for a lunch under coconut palms. The afternoon is spent at your leisure, you can choose among an array of available activities including sunny beach relaxation, swimming, snorkeling, trekking, or kayaking. As the orange sun slowly sets we'll set the table for a seafood dinner on the beach. Sip a cool cocktail and spend the evening in the bay with a bonfire and music (perhaps a quick nighttime swim). Spend the night under tropical stars in beachside tents. [Day 2] Cham Island – Hoi An Enjoy early morning to explore the colourful biodiversity beneath the waves, to encounter and chat with fishermen, and to chill out to the rhythmic crashing of the waves while you dig your toes deeper into the warm sand. No worries – just relax and tell us what you're in the mood for. We embark on the cruise back to the mainland at 11.00 Note: For an additional charge, PADI-certified scuba diving is available for all skill levels if you desire. Dive sites around the islands range from coral gardens and reefs, dramatic rock formations and underwater pinnacles. This is a perfect spot for a variety of dive styles and skill levels.
