Our cruise boat tours leave from Can Tho to Cai Be (on odd dates, e. g. Sept 1, 3, 5, 7 etc.) or from Cai Be to Can Tho (on even dates, e. g. Sept. 2, 4, 6, 8 etc.). Daily departures.

If you are staying in Saigon, we will pick you up at your hotel (district 1 and parts of district 3) and will take you back there after the end of the Mekong Delta cruise tour. The drive to / from Cai Be takes about 2 hours, to / from Can Tho approx. 4 hours.

[Day 1] Panorama Cruise

Pick you up from your Saigon hotel at 8am. Leave the city noise behind and drive into the green delta to board the Mekong Eyes around 12:30 and be greeted with a welcome aboard drink. Check in to your cozy wood-finished cabin and chill before a delicious lunch which is served as the boat begins its cruise. Through the panoramic windows of either your cabin or the dining room, a variety of daily Mekong life scenes can be witnessed as you cruise along. While the boat anchors, in the late afternoon we'll take a leisurely stroll around an island's orchards and farms for about 2 hours. The day ends with a multi-course on-board dinner and a sunset on the top deck while you sip a cocktail and trade stories with fellow travelers.

[Day 2] Floating Market Exploration
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner | cozy cabin on the Mekong Eyes Cruise

We set course at 6:30am for a sunrise cruise. After breakfast while watching the locals at work and the palm trees stretching along the riverbanks, we'll take a sampan boat tour of a Mekong floating market in one of the region's busiest areas for local agriculture. We'll wind our way slowly through the jostling maze of other boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants.
We'll then visit local candy and cake making factories, seeing more of the watery landscapes, local houses, and ship-building yards along the way.
Alternatively you can discover a nearby town on foot or explore the small side canals by bicycle. The boat resumes its journey as lunch is served. In the afternoon there will be another side trip to one of the exotic villages along the way where we can chat with locals and taste some of the sweet seasonal fruits.
If you'd like to try your hand at preparing some south Vietnam cuisine, we can also arrange a fun cooking class on board this afternoon for a small additional charge.

[Day 3] An Exotic World

After an early breakfast cruise through the river's glorious morning atmosphere we will visit another colourful floating market. Don't miss the great photo opportunities for authentic snapshots of the Mekong people and their lives that are tuned to the rhythms of the mighty river.
Take another sampan side trip into the lush rural landscape and the fertile fields, getting close to the million shades of green. The Mekong Eyes then sets course for the pier from which we started, arriving around 11 or 11:30. After lunch, we'll drive you back to your Saigon hotel with innumerable images stored in your memory and on your memory card.
